The Lincoln Memorial and other sites on the National Mall and Memorial Parks are always open to the public (other than the Washington Monument, which is open 9 am to 5 pm). Restrooms, museums and elevators close in the evenings (check individual sites for hours)
Rangers are on duty to assist visitors from 9:30 am to 10 pm daily (9:30 am to 8 p.m. November-February), with the exception of December 25. The United States Park Police are on duty 24 hours a day throughout the year.
