No ground fires, hook ups, showers, or dump station. Vehicle length limit is 29 feet (dip in road damages longer vehicle). Read all info and regulations before booking on Recreation.gov Bring everything you need! Food, beverages, ice, charcoal, wood, fuel, and many camping supplies are not available at the park store.
Directions
Reservation Info: All campsites are on the reservation system, recreation.gov. We recommend making reservations a few weeks in advance and as much as three months in advance during holidays and from January to April. Larger campsites often fill up early so tent campers may find last minute availability more frequently. The park does not offer any walk-in or first come first serve camping. If you arrive without a reservation you may be able to make a reservation using wi-fi at the visitor center. Dispersed camping without a reservation is available on Pinery Canyon Road (Forest Road 42) 6 miles outside the park.
Regulations Overview: Maximum RV/motorhome or trailer length is 29 feet, exterior measurements (bumper or tongue to bumper including any additional racks or storage). Longer vehicles will scrape the roadway and may sustain damage. Campsite capacity is limited to eight people and two vehicles (where space is available), a maximum of two tents per site. Trailers are included as a vehicle. Park any additional vehicles outside the park boundary. Nothing can be tied to trees. No hammocks, outdoor showers, pet tethers. Site #8 is designed for people with disabilities, but open to anyone for one night if it is the last available site. Arrive after noon (check in). Depart before 11 am (check out time). Sites may not be left unattended for over 24 hours. Unoccupied sites will be reassigned if not occupied by the morning after check in. Use tent pads when setting up tents. Quiet hours are from 8 pm to 8 am. Utility hook-ups are not available. Attempting to connect to water, sewer, or electrical outlets is prohibited.

wheelchairAccess= The campground and restrooms are wheelchair accessible. There is a creek that divides the campground causing the paved road to dip with a steep grade. The creek is generally dry but can run after precipitation especially during summer monsoon.
internetInfo= Visitor center Wi-Fi stays on overnight. It is often too slow to download maps, videos, or to make phone calls, but can be useful for receiving text messages or adjusting campground reservations.
cellPhoneInfo= Cell phones rarely work inside the park. Visitors should not depend on visitor center Wi-Fi for important communications. A 911 only phone is available in the campground.
fireStovePolicy= Fires are allowed in designated fire-rings/grills only. Gas stoves are allowed. Fire restrictions occasionally restrict all fires in the late spring and early summer.
rvAllowed= 1
rvInfo= RV/Trailer must be under 29 feet to safely drive through the dip in the road. Many sites cannot accommodate RVs or trailers. If a site allows an RV or trailer but does not list it at the top of the page, the site may have low branches, not be level, or have a challenging layout. The driveway length may help you determine if your vehicle will fit in the site, but even large sites may have limiting factors. Please read the full description carefully before you select a site. Note that larger sites are often reserved farther in advance. The campground is often fully booked during holidays, in October, and from January to April.
